I'm So Happy to Meet You!
Hello and welcome to the Mattawan Early Childhood Education Center! I am honored to be the principal of the Early Childhood Education Center. My family moved to Mattawan in April of 2020. My husband and I lived in Southern Indiana with our two children before moving to Mattawan. My children and I are now both proud wildcats!
Growing up, I always knew that my passion was working with children! I babysat and worked at a local daycare throughout college while obtaining my degree. I began my journey in education working as a kindergarten and first-grade teacher. After a few years of teaching, I determined that I wanted to be in administration and impact a whole building of children. I worked as an assistant principal and elementary principal for grades K-6.
I obtained my bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Ball State University in Muncie. I also attended Ball State for my Master’s degree in Educational Supervision and Leadership.
