• What is SchoolMessenger?

Mattawan Consolidated School uses the SchoolMessenger Notification System to aid in our efforts to improve communication with our Mattawan families. This system allows us a faster and more efficient way of sending phone, email, and text communications to our parents and staff.

All communications will be sent to the contact information we have in PowerSchool, our student database.

If you would like to verify your contact information or update your contact preferences, please follow the directions in the SchoolMessenger Guide.

Federal regulations require us to get your permission to continue calling you with our SchoolMessenger system for non-emergency school situations (for example, attendance calls, events, and other school-specific information).

For non-emergency phone calls, you may choose to limit which of your numbers will receive the call, by going to the SchoolMessenger InfoCenter website at go.schoolmessenger.com.

Safety is our number one priority and you need to know if your child is not in school.  Attendance calls are considered “High Priority” and will require at least one phone number per guardian be available to receive the call.  You may choose to limit which of these numbers you would like to receive attendance calls by going to the SchoolMessenger InfoCenter website at go.schoolmessenger.com.

If you have any questions about SchoolMessenger please email messengersupport@mattawanschools.org.

If you choose to stop taking advantage of the SchoolMessenger text messaging service, you can opt-out at any time by simply replying to one of our messages with “Stop”.

SchoolMessenger is compliant with the Student Privacy PledgeTM, so you can rest assured that your information is safe and will never be given or sold to anyone.
