    MPEF 2024 SENIOR SCHOLARSHIPS
    The Mattawan Public Education Foundation scholarships are open for application.  Application Deadline: March 22 at midnight.     POLISH AMERICAN SCHOLARSHIP
    The Polish-American Scholarship Fund of Greater Kalamazoo is presently accepting applications for our 2024 scholarship awards.  The Fund seeks to recognize and support outstanding Polish-American students in their pursuit of post-secondary education. Up to two (2) one thousand dollar ($1000) non-renewable scholarships will be awarded to qualifying students.  All students of Polish descent from secondary schools located in the greater Kalamazoo area are invited to apply.  Selection will be based upon the following: academic performance, involvement in school, community, or employment related extracurricular activities, and a brief essay.  A copy of the student’s high school transcript and a completed application are required for consideration. Application materials must be received no later than April 1, 2024.  A recipient will be selected around the middle of May.     CONSUMERS CREDIT UNION SCHOLARSHIP
    Our scholarship program has been awarding students for 15 years, which means scholastic support to more than 150 Michigan high school seniors. This year we have one $10,000 scholarship and 10 $1,000 scholarships to award Michigan High School Seniors.     Robert G. Hollis Scholarship:  The Mattawan Lions Club established the R. G. Hollis Scholarship to reward an outstanding Mattawan High School student who intends to pursue post-secondary education.     Irving O'Leary Scholarship:  The Mattawan Lions Club established the Irving O’Leary Science Scholarship to encourage the interest of high school students in “natural science,” (biology, physics, chemistry, etc.) to reward their achievements both in and out of the classroom, and to encourage them to pursue careers in science (biologist, chemist, geologist, nurse, etc.)  APPLY NOW: Irving O'Leary Scholarship

    VOLUNTEER UNITED SCHOLARSHIPS:  Deadline - January 27, 2023
    United Way of Southwest Michigan now accepting applications for our annual Volunteer United Youth Scholarships. Each year one high school senior from Berrien, Cass and Van Buren Counties are selected for the Volunteer United Youth Scholarship Award. Winning youth volunteers will demonstrate a commitment to volunteerism through Creativity, Dedication, and Advocacy for Community Improvement. Each winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship made out on their behalf to their college, university, trade school, or institution of higher learning that offers post-secondary credentials. Current high school seniors are encouraged to self-nominate and will be chosen by a panel of their peers in each county. Below is a link to fill out the nomination form.
